In my recent Boston Globe article, I wrote about how operations research would show up in nearly every aspect of a family trip to Disney World. Now a Texas engineer has taken the process a step further: using O.R. techniques to chart the most efficient course for riding every single ride at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom--a total of 41--in one day.
